Hello and Happy Sunday everyone!
For today’s post, I will be doing a photo unboxing of the August Loot Gaming subscription crate!
An item in this crate was a bit delayed so this crate arrived after September’s Metal themed crate which I unboxed last week.
The theme for the August crate was “Medieval” and incorporates gaming stuff that fits that particular theme.
This post will contain spoilers of the crate’s contents so if you are a Loot Gaming subscriber and you haven’t received your August crate yet, don’t read any further if you want to be surprised about your crate’s contents.
Now let’s get on with the unboxing!
Upon first opening the crate, I was super excited to spot some awesome looking items! I saw Skyrim and immediately was hyped to explore the rest of the crate’s contents! I’ve actually been re-playing Skyrim for the past few days, so it was really cool to see that item featured!
The featured game franchises for this crate were Skyrim, Dark Souls, Dungeons & Dragons, and God of War.
Now we will take a look at each individual item in the crate!
To begin, we have an awesome Loot Crate Edition God of War (or Dad of Boy as some affectionately call it) art print featuring Kratos and Atreus!
I personally love this print and I plan to frame mine to add to my gaming and collectibles room. The colors are vibrant and it shows Kratos and Atreus in a beautiful scene. It’s also printed on a textured paper.
Next, we have this amazing Loot Crate Original Skyrim Dovahkiin Helmet Replica!
Honestly, this was the item in the crate that I was most hyped about. In my opinion, Skyrim is one of the greatest RPGs of all time and it is on my list of all-time favorite games!
I currently have this sitting on my desk and it is a fantastic display piece to look at, especially when you feel the need to channel your inner Dragonborn!
For size comparison, this helmet replica is nearly as tall as a standard Funko POP figure.
It is made of plastic and is very detailed with the weathering and color shading. All in all, it’s a great item and I love that it was featured in this particular crate!
The pin in this month’s Loot Gaming crate was this Medieval themed pin!
I really like this pin! The colors are beautiful and it certainly fits the “Medieval” theme!
I also love how it has a crest feel with little gaming elements on it such as the pixel hearts and a game cartridge! It’s nice quality and the little details are what really made me love this pin!
Now, for this month’s featured t-shirt!
This is an exclusive red D&D dragon t-shirt!
I’ll admit that I don’t have a lot of experience with the D&D franchise, but this shirt is AWESOME and anything with dragons is a win for me!
I absolutely love the color since red is one of my favorite colors, especially for clothing! I also really like the dragon graphic and with it being printed in white ink, it really POPS off of the t-shirt. It’s nice quality and I cannot wait to wear this!
When I first unfolded the poster in the Medieval crate, I thought to myself, “That graphic on here looks really familiar!”
After staring at it for a moment, I remembered that my dad had a puzzle of this graphic and I helped him put it together when I was a kid!
The poster is stunning and will be hung up in my gaming room!
Now, for the item from Dark Souls that was not included with the crate due to a delay. According to Loot Gaming on Twitter, if you are a subscriber and were wondering where this item is, it will be included in your next crate. If you are no longer a subscriber, it will be sent separately.
Honestly, this Dark Souls pin set looks amazing and I cannot wait to receive mine! I love to collect pins so these will be fantastic additions to my collection!
Overall, I think this crate was awesome and was worth the wait! Of course, my favorite items in the crate were the Dovahkiin Helmet Replica and the t-shirt!
Everything in the crate fit the theme really well and everything is good quality!
Thank you for viewing and stay tuned for a Halloween/Fall themed Figure Photo Friday coming up soon!
