Plushie Review – Pocket Morty Plushies by Symbiote Studios

Hey everyone!

Today, I’m going to be doing a quick review of some of the Morty plushies from Symbiote Studios! These plushies are based on the different varieties of Mortys from the Pocket Mortys game and they sure are CUTE!

So far, I’ve collected four of these Morty plushies and I have another one on the way! I think they are awesome to collect and they are high quality plushies with unique details on each! With so many types, they really make great additions to any Rick and Morty fan’s collection!

All of these officially licensed Morty plushies stand approximately 10 inches tall and are all made from a super soft and cuddly material! They are also limited which makes them perfect for collectors!

Now let’s take a look at some of the Mortys individually!

A Dame’s Gotta Review – A Look Back At 2018

Hey everyone!

I had originally meant to get this posted before Christmas, but as you all know, that magical time can either be super busy or super relaxed.  Either you’re running around trying to get everything done on time, or if you’re like me, you’re a bit too relaxed with a cup of coffee by your side and an Xbox controller in your hand, knowing that everything is done and the festivities can commence without a hitch.

I wanted to take a few moments and reflect on this year in terms of blogging and look forward to a new year and what blogging adventures may await!  I started this blog back in March, so I’m a bit shy of having a full year to reflect back on, but I feel like the months since I started this blog are a great place to begin.

I found some general end of the year review questions for bloggers and I’ve decided that I will answer them in this post as it may give readers some insight, as well as myself.

Hailey’s Geekmas Holiday Gift Guide

Hey everyone!

For some of us, it’s almost that special time of year. You know, the time of the year where everything seems magical and hectic, all at the same time.  We scramble around and search high and low for the perfect gifts for the special people in our lives.

This is my first holiday season since I started this blog and I’ve always wanted to do a fun gift guide for gamers, geeks, and collectors.  It’s a common thing to see these types of lists on most blogs and websites during the holiday season so I figured that I’d join in on the fun and list some neat gift ideas for the holidays!

I will show some of the products that I enjoy and tell a little about why I think they would make a great gift!

I was honored to recently discover that Fitzy from Game Time nominated my blog for a Real Neat Blog Award!

I’d like to begin by thanking Fitzy for the nomination and to say that I am truly honored! I’m fairly new to the blogging world so this acknowledgement means the world to me! I have discovered a very awesome network of gaming bloggers and I’m looking forward to getting to know more about each of them!

Fitzy has presented me with some fun and interesting scenario questions which I will answer below!

Figure Photo Friday – Vol. 10 – Fall/Halloween Edition 1

There’s something about this time of year that really makes me happy.

It could be the slight chill in the air, the Halloween decorations in the stores, or just simply the need to wear a hoodie every day.  It could also be the smell of pumpkin spice that tends to linger everywhere I visit.

Autumn, and particularly the entire month of October, tend to serve as my favorite time of the year.  From the perfect weather to scary movie marathons on TV, you really can’t beat this time of year!

For this week’s Figure Photo Friday, I decided to do photos with Fall and Halloween themes.  I am planning to do more of these before October ends!

All of the photos were taken and edited by me.

Please enjoy the photos!

Loot Gaming – August 2018 “Medieval” Photo Unboxing

Hello and Happy Sunday everyone!

For today’s post, I will be doing a photo unboxing of the August Loot Gaming subscription crate!

An item in this crate was a bit delayed so this crate arrived after September’s Metal themed crate which I unboxed last week.

The theme for the August crate was “Medieval” and incorporates gaming stuff that fits that particular theme.

This post will contain spoilers of the crate’s contents so if you are a Loot Gaming subscriber and you haven’t received your August crate yet, don’t read any further if you want to be surprised about your crate’s contents.

Now let’s get on with the unboxing!

Oh Joy! My Adventure So Far In We Happy Few

We Happy Few is a game that I have been anticipating for awhile now and it had been on my “must-play” list since I first saw a trailer for it about two years ago!

After playing the demo on Xbox, I was super excited to get my hands on the full game and that time has finally arrived! (I may or may not have sat and watched for the UPS man for most of the day to deliver my copy.)

We Happy Few was released this past Friday and I spent most of this past weekend exploring around Wellington Wells and taking in the mysterious, beautiful, and sometimes creepy sights.

I am currently about twelve hours into the game and it has been everything that I had been hoping for and more!

Today, I will detail some of my adventure so far and share some in-game screenshots.

Figure Photo Review – Daryl Dixon 1/6th Scale Figure by Threezero

Anyone who knows me well will tell you that Norman Reedus is my favorite actor and Daryl Dixon is my favorite character that he has portrayed!

Threezero began making a line of sixth scale figures of characters from The Walking Dead and it was my hope that they would make one of Daryl Dixon.  The line of figures has also included Rick Grimes, Michonne, Michonne’s Walker Pets, Merle Dixon, Negan, and Glenn Rhee.

I had been saving my Sideshow Reward Points just for this figure and I pre-ordered it shortly after it was announced in early January and it has finally arrived!

This figure retails at $168 from Sideshow Collectibles, but thanks to my saved reward points, I was able to get this figure for just the cost of shipping!!
